I recently received an e-mail from a good friend of mine who is concerned for a good friend of his.  He asked me to respond to his friends claim that he could practice Scientology and still be a Christian.  Both of them were Orthodox Christians to be specific.  The basis of Scientology is atheism and materialism, however people believe they can use some of the teachings of Scientology to make them better Christians.  This is the problem that will be talked about in the following letter.&lt;br /&gt;
