Far too often in the media we see a bias towards subjects in the public field. The media has become a willing propagandist for one side of an issue rather than a servant of the people in terms of distributing information. Often, I believe, the media has forgotten that the people whom they serve pay them for their services, not because they are wonderful reporters, but because the people desire unbiased and well-written information, sometimes known as news. An example of the media's promulgation of preconceived notions is in this setting of creation versus evolution. When the media mentions such debate it does so in terms of science versus the Bible.

All of us have been tempted to make claims that are beyond the scope and means of our profession. I'm writing to you now because I'm worried about this same troubling problem entering into the world of science. Whereas, if answered yes, then we live in a world that testifies of an objective good and evil.

I must state how surprised I am at the quick downgrading of the historical accuracy of Holy Bible. How many “learned” people seem to quickly forget the academic methods used to determine if a piece of literature is false. Moreover, how modern critics seem to think that with a mere wave of the pen, they can relegate one of world’s largest and most significant religions as a mere myth.
