Jun 29: Answering Relativists

Your truth and My truth, you belive your way and I will belive mine.

Some answers to this claim.

  • My truth is you have no truth (always a good fight starter)
  • You say my belief of objective truth is only true for me, then why isn't your truth, relativism, only true for you?
  • If no truth is absolutely true, then why do you want me to believe your truth of no absolutes.
  • You are rejecting my universal claim of truth, but you want me to believe in your universal claim of subjective or relativistic truth, why?
  • Is that true that universal truth is false?
  • Is not the claim of the truth is there is no truth, self-refuting?
  • Do you expect me to live by your claim? If so, do you live by your claim?  Meaning, do you think speeding car is not necessarily true, and thus will not necessarily kill you?
